'Feels Like Home' hits 5 record charts

Greetings friends,

I hope your summer is ending with some fun adventures and memories being made.

I have been very busy with work and play, and finding delight in both, I might add!

My EP Titled Feels Like Home was released May 15th at Baur's listening room in downtown Denver.

It has been well received by family, friends and in the industry. It hit 5 record charts with the help of Lisa Grey and Kim Brody on our radio promotion team, and the DJ's who chose to play my music.  It debuted #1 on Airplay direct in April and reached #29 on the Folk DJ-L for the month of June.  It also reached  #9 on the Rural Roots Music chart, with the Paul Simon tune "Kathy's Song" reaching #5.

What does this mean? It means the Roots, Folk and Americana genre were liking what we did.

In the words of Uwe Kruger of the Kruger Brothers Band, "Mary Beth has found her voice".

Big shout out to Tyler Grant and Adrian Engfer of Grant Farm band and Chris Pandolfi and Jeremy Garrett from the Infamous String Dusters.  See my link page on the website www.marybethcross.com for more information about all of these talented players and where to catch them on their tours, as well as sample streaming tracks and videos.

I have been blessed to work with Chuck Whiting, our Publicist, who goes above and beyond writing.  He is a coach and overall supportive wealth of industry information.

We are busy sending the EP out across the pond to the European Americana DJ's.  We have already received airplay coast to coast and in the UK, France and New Zealand and hope to expand the fan base and exposure.

We are looking forward to playing Swallow Hill October 15th in Denver, so we hope to see you there. Tickets can be purchased through the box office or at www.swallowhillmusic.org.

I will be playing with the talented Denver Bluegrass band Meadow Mountain Music.

Jeff and I will be attending IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) in October for the week of Bluegrass in Raleigh, NC and NERFA (North East Regional Folk Alliance)in Stamford, CT in November.

We are continuing to book shows for the fall and out into 2017, so please stay tuned and we all look forward to seeing you soon.

Best,

Mary Beth
